 | Like the name, this island is literally a dead island - nobody lives here, and the vegetation is all dead, including the animals. It is unknown why this has happened, though it's just a fact - nothing lives here.
But, by surrounding islands, there is a superstition that the dead walk on this island at every night of the new moon. On this night, there have been white shapes commonly seen in the blackness.

Raiyeko Ishikawa  | | Atarashii Tsuki Island - literally translating into "New Moon Island" - is one of the largest, and least inhabited islands of the East Islands. It has its name for the strange vegetation on the island - when the moon is in the new moon phase it seems to glow an eerie blue, because of the plants on the island. These plants are very poisonous and acidic - even touching them would cause a small portion of the poison to take place on your body. Because of how many plants there are, stumbling through the forest would wind up being deadly within two days.
But, this is a common rendezvous point for ninja - loyal and rogue alike - because of the solitude.
