Personality InformationPersonality Description: Meiko is generally tough, and rough... oh hell yeah, I rhymed. But, she has a very tomboyish personality - she's rarely girly, and if she is, it's definitely not over makeup or boys. Anyway, like I said, she's very rough - her idea of a greeting is a headlock and a super nuggie. She is nearly always smiling, and when she isn't, it's probably in her sadistic mood. For her sadistic mood, that usually is activated whenever she is fighting. Anyway, she also is very tough - she won't let you get to her, and would rather laugh in your face than show any form of weakness towards you. To her, this is showing that she's not weak, and can stand up for herself unlike other girls who just breakdown under pressure. Like I said, she has a very tomboyish personality. Also, she loves sake, even though she's not an alcoholic. If you challenge her in a drinking competition, prepare to be owned brutally. When she's drunk she tends to be more aggressive than usual, usually ending up with you crossdressing if you're a guy. ame: Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique) Type: Supplementary Range: Short 0-5m Rank: E Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise, which Sasuke has done twice in the anime. Fundamentally, all ninja know this technique. The anime has a number of other objects being used for this jutsu, such as a boulder, mud, a scarecrow, and even a large rolled-up carpet. These items are usually nowhere in sight, suggesting that they are merely gags meant to lighten up the situation and not an actual part of the jutsu. Additionally, the normal practice of switching places with a section of log is done in several places that have no such thing anywhere nearby. This technique is sometimes referred to as the Art of Projection ("Utsusemi no Jutsu") in other manga and anime series.
Name: Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique) Type: Supplementary Range: Short 0-5m Rank: E Description: This jutsu allows a ninja to take a cloak or a piece of cloth and blend into an object, making them invisible. Konohamaru uses this technique constantly in the beginning of the Naruto series to try and fool Naruto Uzumaki, but uses poor disguises (square rocks with eyeholes, cloaks that are incorrectly patterned or the wrong way round, or simply not covering himself completely), thus betraying the illusion. In the anime, Naruto has been somewhat practical at using this jutsu a couple of times.
Name: Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique) Type: Supplementary Range: Short 0-5m Rank: E Description: This technique creates intangible clones of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).
Name: Jibaku Fuda: Kassei (Exploding Tag: Activate) Type: Supplementary Range: All Ranges Rank: E Description: Utilizing chakra, the user is able to activate the explosion mechanism of a distant bomb tag. The exploding tags that the Third Hokage used were different than the usual bomb tags, being yellow in color instead of white with a red border.

Name: Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique) Type: Supplementary Range: Short 0-5m Rank: E Description: This jutsu allows the user to assume the appearance of another person, animal, or object. This is one of the basic jutsu taught at the Konoha Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninja know this jutsu.
Name: Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique) Type: Supplementary Range: Short to Mid 0-10m Rank: D Description: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily boost the user's reflexes. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance between the user and their intended destination. Shisui Uchiha, one of the most talented Uchiha, was feared as "Shisui of the Body Flicker" ("Shunshin no Shisui"), likely referring to this technique. The Body Flicker technique has various variations among the different hidden villages, all of which involve some extra element aside from the movement itself. The extra element is usually some sort of substance used to distract the opponent, such as leaves or sand. Gaara, for instance, uses the "Sand Body Flicker" (Suna-Shunshin), which uses sand to cover his movements. Other varieties include the "Mist Body Flicker" (Kiri-Shunshin), "Water Body Flicker" (Mizu-Shunshin), and "Leaf Body Flicker" (Konoha-Shunshin).
Name: Oboro Bunshin no Jutsu (Haze Clone Technique) Type: Supplementary Range: Short 0-5m Rank: D Description: This jutsu is similar to the Clone Technique, but produces clones that don't disappear when struck, making it much harder to effectively locate the user.
Name: Kanashibari no Jutsu (Temporary Paralysis Technique) Type: Supplementary Range: Short to Mid 0-10m Rank: D Description: This jutsu paralyzes an opponent, leaving them open for attack. This is considered a signature jutsu of all ANBU members. Tsunade used this technique in the anime against the Legendary Stupid Brothers, Fujin and Raijin.
Name: Shin-dashin no Jutsu (New Approaching Technique) Type: Supplementary Range: Short 0-5m Rank: D Description: This jutsu envelops a target in a puff of smoke and drags them to the user's location. When Ino used it on Naruto Uzumaki, she only dragged him a few feet.
Name: Utsusemi no Jutsu (Projection Technique) Type: Supplementary Range: All Ranges Rank: C Description: Using this jutsu, the user can project their voice from various points in a specific area in a manner similar to ventriloquism. The user does not need to speak to transmit the sound, so tracking them by sound is impossible. Those in the area where the voice is being projected at will hear a resonating echo, as well as a more ominous undertone. Projection Technique is only known as a jutsu in the Naruto anime. It was first used in the Naruto manga by Zabuza Momochi and Orochimaru with no name. In addition, this technique has never been given an entry name in the databooks, which more than likely means it is more of a skill than a jutsu, much like walking up walls or walking on water using chakra.
Name: Ranshinsho (Important Body Points Disturbance) Type: Supplementary Range: Short 0-5m Rank: A Description: By converting a small amount of chakra into electricity and hitting her opponent's brain stem, Tsunade can disrupt the regular flow of electrical signals from the target's brain to other parts of the target's body. For example, if the target tried to move their right arm, their left leg would move instead.

Name: Kawara Shuriken (Roof Tile Shuriken) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: D Description: This jutsu is similar in principle to the Manipulating Attack Blades jutsu, but uses spinning tiles instead of regular weapons. In addition to being able to control the tiles remotely, the user can pressurize the tiles with chakra to make them far stronger than normal.
Name: Fukumikuchi Hari (Hidden Mouth Needles) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: C Description: Using poisoned needles hidden in their mouth, a user can quickly incapacitate an opponent.
Name: Sumi Bunshin (Ink Clone) Type: Supplementary Range: Short 0-5m Rank: C Description: This jutsu creates clones out of ink. The clones revert back to ink once damaged enough.
Name: Choju Giga (Super Beasts Imitation Picture) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: - Description: Sai draws creatures on his scroll, then uses this technique to animate them. The animals can act as the corresponding animal would. For example, a bird can be used for espionage or flight depending on its size, while a tiger can attack and maul an opponent. Sai can also control them for other purposes.
ame: Soshuha (Manipulating Attack Blades) Type: Offensive Range: Short to Mid 0-10m Rank: C Description: This jutsu allows the user to control and manipulate blades with chakra in a manner similar to the Puppet Technique.
Name: Shikomishindan (Prepared Needle Shot) Type: Offensive Range: Short to Mid 0-10m Rank: C Description: Using a wrist-mounted device, the user can launch five needles at their opponent. The device is usually used to surprise the enemy, as it may be concealed under long sleeves. The needles can also be dipped with a lethal poison to add to their fatality.
Name: Tobidogu (Projectile Weapons) Type: Supplementary Range: Short 0-5m Rank: C Description: In order to store and use items or weapons that the user would never be capable of carrying normally, the user can keep them contained within summoning scrolls. Puppets commonly have such scrolls attached to hidden compartments to produce extra arms and other similar features. Like the Summoning Technique, a small donation of blood is required to summon the items.
Name: Joro Senbon (Sprinkling Needles) Type: Offensive Range: Mid 5-10m Rank: C Description: After tossing a needle-filled umbrella into the air, this jutsu can be used to fire a barrage of hundreds of needles from sockets in the umbrella. The needles come at the enemy at Mach speed and can surround them from all directions. Chakra is utilized to control and increase the accuracy of every needle, making them impossible to dodge or evade. In the manga, it's said that the needles are capable of piercing through five millimeters of steel, yet they are not powerful enough to get past Gaara's Shield of Sand.
Name: Sakura Fubuki no Jutsu (Sakura Blizzard Technique) Type: Offensive Range: Short to Mid 0-10m Rank: C Description: Sakura hurls several kunai at her opponent, each with a small sack of miniature explosive tags attached. The opponent, while deflecting the kunai, will cause the sacks to break and scatter the tags on themselves and the area around them. Sakura merely has to throw another kunai with an explosive tag to ignite them, thus catching her opponent in an immense explosion.
ame: Fubaku Hojin (Sealed Bombs Square Release) Type: Supplementary Range: Short 0-5m Rank: C Description: This jutsu uses an array of explosive tags in a manner similar to the Barrier Encampment Method, but the tags are activated manually by the user instead of exploding once the target enters the trap. Once the trap is active, the tags will explode if the target attempts to move. Others, however, can enter with no trouble, and the user can shut off the tags.
Name: Shogu: Shikyu Geki (Weapon: Circular Battle Attack) Type: Defensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: B Description: In this jutsu, Tenten uses two of her scrolls while spinning to create a barrier that is encircled by dozens of spiked orbs.
Name: Soshoryu (Twin Rising Dragons) Type: Offensive Range: Short to Mid 0-10m Rank: B Description: A variation on Tenten's normal Projectile Weapons summoning, this jutsu uses both of Tenten's weapon scrolls to summon twice as many weapons. As a distraction, the scrolls emit a large smokescreen when activated, after which the scrolls shoot into the air concealed by two smoke dragons. The dragons circle around each other after reaching a certain height. Tenten then jumps into the middle of the scrolls and summons all manner of weaponry to throw at her opponent. She can also use strings to lift and rethrow the weapons should she miss her target.
Name: Sogu: Shu Senjin (Weapon: Thousand Sword Array) Type: Offensive Range: Long 10-15m Rank: B Description: Similar to Tenten's Twin Rising Dragons, this jutsu involves the same type of summoning, but only summons kunai instead of a random assortment of weapons.
Name: Sogu: Fujin Heki (Weapon: Wall of the Wind God) Type: Offensive Range: Long 10-15m Rank: B Description: Using both of her scrolls, Tenten creates two chakra pathways, which various weapons travel along, knocking her opponent into the air. She then uses a chain to pull the opponent back into the ground.

Name: Sennen Goroshi (Thousand Years of Pain) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: E Description: This is a very simple jutsu with a very over-dramatized name. All the user does is forcefully plunge their index and middle fingers into their opponent's rectum, usually causing severe constipation among other things. Its rank varies from user to user based on just what they do with it. For example, Kakashi used it to launch Naruto a ridiculous distance (perhaps propelling him with chakra). Naruto later figured out the true purpose of the jutsu: it is used in conjunction with a pointed object (usually a kunai) to attack the blind spot of an opponent. When combined with explosive tags, it can even kill an opponent. The technique is similar to a childish prank known as a kancho. The official name for this technique is "Sennen Goroshi". However, the name is sometimes thought erroneously to be "Sennen Gurushi" (????), meaning something along the lines of "Thousand Years of Pain". It could be construed that the original fansubbers, when translating the fourth episode, in which the jutsu debuted, heard the name as "Sennen Gurushi".
Name: Kainamikku-Entori (Dynamic Entry) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: D Description: This jutsu is simply a flying jump kick at an enemy before being spotted. Lee's version tends to be much slower than Guy's, reflecting a difference in skill.
Name: Konoha Reppu (Konoha Whirlwind) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: D Description: Using his quickness and agility, Lee performs a spinning kick to sweep his opponent off their feet.
Name: Konoha Senpu (Leaf Whirlwind) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: D Description: This jutsu is a set-up attack for a stronger jutsu. It consists of a simple, but very fast, duck followed by a powerful upward kick, which sends the opponent flying. When Guy uses this attack, he covers his foot in chakra to enhance it, making his version C-ranked.
Name: Goken (Strong Fist) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: D Description: Strong Fist is Guy's and Lee's characteristic fighting style, the purpose of which is to cause external damage and break bones. Additionally, they have learned to open the eight chakra gates, allowing them to briefly increase their physical limits in exchange for severe physical damage after the effects have worn off. In fact, the eighth gate is assured to cause death if opened, while the other seven merely cause exponential degrees of physical damage. Sasuke does not actually use this style, but rather a few specific elements that he copied from Rock Lee using his Sharingan.
Name: Rakanken (Achiever of Nirvana Fist) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: C Description: Jirobo's signature style of combat, Achiever of Nirvana Fist focuses on simple physical attacks augmented with Jirobo's incredible strength. Using simple palm strikes, shoulder thrusts, knee strikes, and punches, Jirobo can easily defeat an opponent in one or two blows.
Name: Konoha Daisenpu (Leaf Typhoon) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: C Description: This jutsu involves a powerful leap forward followed by a spinning kick with both legs in succession, the second kick being aimed lower in case the intended target ducks the first.
Name: Konoha Shofu (Leaf Rising Wind) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: C Description: Using quickness and agility, the user will do a swift upwards kick at their opponent or at a weapon the opponent is wielding.
Name: Tsutenkyaku (Painful Sky Leg) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: C Description: This jutsu is simply a kick to the ground. Combined with Tsunade's incredible strength, this kick results in either a gigantic crater or fracture along the ground, and can kill the person she is attacking.
Name: Kage Buyo (Shadow Dancing Leaf) Type: Supplementary Range: Short 0-5m Rank: C Description: While the target is airborne, the user jumps in such a way as to appear below the target while following a similar trajectory through the air. Since the victim is airborne, he is in a vulnerable position to a more damaging attack. Using his Sharingan, Sasuke was able to copy this move when Rock Lee used it on him. Unlike Lee, however, he hasn't had sufficient training to avoid the body strain from using the technique.
Name: Shuriken Rendan (Shuriken Combo) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: C Description: The user performs two punches then launches the enemy into the air with an uppercut and jumps in the air and punches the enemy towards the ground and stamps (then spins) the enemy. This attack had the same actions of Super Shuriken Combo in Naruto: Clash of Ninja and Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 but was changed in the rest of the Naruto: Clash of Ninja series and instead of stamping then spinning the enemy they just stamp the enemy while the first version became stronger and became Iruka and Mizuki's second special as Super Shuriken Combo.
Name: Hien (Flying Swallow) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: B Description: Using his chakra to extend the blades of his trench knives, Asuma attacks his opponent. The chakra can inflict injury even if the blade does not hit.
Name: Mikazuki no Mai (Dance of the Crecent Moon) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: A Description: This jutsu creates three shadow clones of the user, which attack along with the user in a complicated sword-dancing pattern to confuse the opponent. The swords are also able to extend to any length.

This period of Meiko's time was pretty boring - it was short, considering she went to the academy at age three, but she was pretty pampered by her family for the fact that she's the only one who wasn't miscarried by her mother. Blah blah blah...
Academy Arc: - Spoiler:
Meiko didn't get accepted into the academy easily, for the fact that she'd be the only girl who wasn't a Juki, and for the fact that she was.. well, a chick. But, that didn't stop her. She was persistent, and didn't give up until she got a solid yes and her academy application was accepted. Even then, she didn't give up when the other students tried to get her to quit. By age six, she was already at the top of her class. She trained relentlessly, wanting to show the other students that girls could be just as good as guys too. Meiko succeeded, too - her chakra control was just as good as her taijutsu. But, she wasn't good at genjutsu... for the fact that she lacked the self control.
Genin Arc:- Spoiler:
This was a more eventful time period for Meiko - she was the strongest of her squad, and trained the hardest. Next to the jounin leading the squad, she was definitely the co-leader among the team. But, of course, the boys still didn't acknowledge her - she proved them wrong many times when they said that boys were better than girls, and even laughed in their faces when she owned them. She grew close friends with the female Juki members, and soon grew a goal - to surpass the Juki clan leader, and become a rolemodel for females wanting to become a kunoichi.[spoiler]
Chuunin Exam: [spoiler] Meiko didn't pass this easily - she failed the first time for the fact that her opponent was a puppet user, and couldn't defend herself against two puppets and the user at once. Of course, she still had persistence - she didn't give up until next year, and passed the chunin exams that time with flying colours. But, she didn't give it her all in the final round - for the fact that her opponent was weaker compared to her strength she attained from her year of rigorous training. She may be tough, but Meiko's always had a nice side to her when she knows she's superior to her opponent.
Chuunin Arc:- Spoiler:
This wasn't an exactly successful time of Meiko's life - she was used to easy missions, and for the first missions she failed them. When her chunin rank was about to be withdrawn, she came through and began having a much higher mission completion rate, and soon rose through the ranks. By age 15, she had already completed 3 S ranked missions and 10 A rank.
